Conducting a Life Cycle Assessment for the "Standard Structure" Project
Environmental and social evaluation of a standardised and reusable structure compared to the custom-made structures currently in use.
The aim is to verify the environmental and social relevance of the solution developed by Collectif 17h25 in comparison to the
current situation.
Collectif 17h25 includes the Opéra de Lyon, the Festival d’Art Lyrique d’Aix-en-Provence, the Opéra de Paris,
the Théâtre du Châtelet, and the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels.
Shop! France (formerly POPAI) is the association for Point of Sale Marketing (PoSM), bringing together manufacturers
of point-of-sale displays (PoS), brands, and retailers.
Stakeholders in the sector are increasingly mature in addressing environmental impact issues and are becoming more demanding.
EVEA has supported Shop! France in developing and implementing a common Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method for PoS actors, called Shop!SKOR.
This harmonised method, recognised by the entire PoSM ecosystem, serves as a reference in an inter-company context. Today,
EVEA and Shop! continue to deploy Shop!SKOR among Shop! France members.
MORNING offers coworking spaces and designs and implements office fit-outs. Morning has chosen to develop its own range of the
most responsible furniture possible to equip the offices it manages.
EVEA supported Morning in assessing the environmental impacts of this furniture range across its entire life cycle. We raised
awareness among the teams about eco-design, supported the eco-design process (material benchmarking, identifying continuous
improvement opportunities), and verified the environmental benefits of design choices through a comparative life cycle assessment.
MV Design (formerly MarketValue) is an interior architecture agency specialising in retail, with a particular focus on more responsible
space design. The agency is built on three pillars: eco-designing spaces, integrating new practices (recycling, repairing, reusing),
and promoting the well-being of collaborators.
EVEA supported the design teams in eco-designing new store concepts in the textile and mass retail sectors:
Social LCA of the Guar supply chain in India for Revisit as part of a three-year sustainable supply chain development project.
This involved gathering information from stakeholders in collaboration with a local NGO, developing a scoring system, and designing an action plan.
FESPA France is the professional organisation representing the French visual communication industry. It brings together nearly 500
companies specialising in signage, screen printing, wayfinding, large-format digital printing, branding and decoration, digital media, engraving,
media application, and installation.
To help the sector strengthen its expertise in the eco-design of visual communication products, FESPA France partnered with EVEA to provide its members
with a solid knowledge base on the environmental challenges of the industry, along with practical tools to initiate and implement eco-design strategies.
More specifically, this includes access to the ASKOR tool for FESPA, guides to support members in conducting
life cycle assessments (LCA) using the tool, and a reference guide outlining the key environmental challenges for 10 major products in the sector.
We support fit-out specialists, scenographers, designers, interior architects,
furniture manufacturers, brands, and visual communication professionals.
