For 15 years, EVEA’s Agriculture and Food team has been working alongside stakeholders in the agricultural and agri-food sector to support their environmental and social transitions. Drawing on expertise that ranges from life cycle assessment (LCA) to the modelling of agricultural systems, the team helps businesses, cooperatives and institutions move towards more sustainable practices, rooted in science and in the living world.
The team brings together 10 consultants trained in agricultural engineering, agronomy, food science and biotechnology. Split between our Nantes and Lyon offices, five of them have worked in large corporations, SMEs and major retail groups, while three have contributed their skills in research centres.
Among them are a PhD in life cycle assessment, a market gardener, and enthusiasts of sport, dance and the outdoors. Their hallmark is the union of scientific rigour with a passion for movement and for life.
Based at the heart of EVEA’s Agro-Resources and Green Chemistry division, the team has spent the past 15 years unravelling the environmental and social challenges of bio-based products. Their work covers every stage of the chain: agricultural production, agri-food, biotechnology, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, materials and more.
