Once again this year, our team working on plastic pollution took part in the annual meeting of the French research group Plastics, Environment and Health (GDR).
The 2025 edition was held in Bordeaux and, for the first time, gave space to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) — a subject we’ve been working on for years at EVEA.
Robin Sales and Inès Boquillon presented their research on how to include plastic pollution in agricultural soils in LCA studies.
“It was an honour to speak in front of such a dedicated scientific community,” said Inès. “I was really pleased to present the project I’ve been working on since the beginning of my internship. Taking part in the GDR is a great experience — you get to learn about other exciting research and meet passionate people.”
The event closed on Thursday evening in Mériadeck, with a public talk titled:
“Plastic pollution: facts, challenges and solutions for the 21st century.”
A meaningful evening to bring together science, field insights and the need for change — all things that drive our work at EVEA.
