EVEA’s Director of Agro-Resources and Green Chemistry, Samuel Causse, participated in a round table discussion at a seminar organized by France’s environmental agency, ADEME, on January 11th. The seminar, called « Agribalyse », focused on a program bearing the same name developed by ADEME for environmental evaluation of agricultural products in France. ADEME developed Agribalyse 10 years ago and the goal of this seminar was to evaluate the program on a global level since its creation as well as to improve the program for future use.
The seminar served in part as a platform for environmental professionals to discuss data development processes, methodologies to calculate environmental impact, and current use of Agribalyse by businesses. The seminar concluded by a conversation on future development of the program to best address the varying needs of both the private and public sectors.
During the round table discussion, Samuel had the chance to present some of EVEA’s work in eco-design and responsible communication in the agricultural and agro-food sectors.
The round table was organized by ADEME’s Jérôme Mousset and Vincent Colomb. Full list of round table participants: An De Schryver, Sandrine Espagnol, Chantal Gascuel, Samuel Causse.
