EVEA at the "Rencontres nationales de l'éco-conception" 2025

04/10/2025

The EVEA team was in Villeurbanne, France, for the 2025 edition of the Rencontres nationales de l’éco-conception (National Eco-design Conference), organised by the Pôle Éco-conception with the support of the ADEME (French agency for ecological transition). Held at the Institut d’art contemporain, the event brought together workshops, talks and hands-on discussions with professionals from across the eco-design field.

Our team took part in several round table discussions throughout the day:

  • Julien Larrenduche, Project Lead for Social Footprints at EVEA, spoke about social life cycle assessment (SLCA), alongside Marion Devienne (Score LCA), Naeem Adibi (WeLOOP), Gonzalo Huaroc and Romain Mahasenga (both from [Pôle Éco-conception]).
  • Mike Nunes, Project Lead for LCA and eco-design, contributed to a session on planetary boundaries with Antoine Giret (École des Mines de Saint-Étienne) and Mélissa Bounouar ([Pôle Éco-conception]). He presented ways to connect life cycle assessment (LCA) to global environmental thresholds.

We also introduced ASKOR, our support tool for LCA and eco-socio design:

  • Manon Schmitt led the tool and LCA component.
  • Julien Larrenduche focused on the newly integrated social module.

Meanwhile, IPC (Industrial Technical Center for Plastics and Composites) unveiled C3R Impact, a tailored version of ASKOR designed to meet the specific needs of the plastics and composites sector.

Another highlight of the day was the Eco-design Worskhop, co-facilitated by Maëva Le Porho (EVEA) and Louison Robin (Gingko 21), offering an engaging and educational look at today’s environmental challenges.

Our stand remained open throughout the event for informal discussions and exchanges. Many thanks to everyone we met, and to the organising teams at Pôle Éco-conception and ADEME, as well as our partners such as SCORELCA.

And finally, a quick team photo to round off the day — smiles included:
